Current Regime
Although I agree with the decision to bring back the existing regime, I don't belive they can turn this team around in one season. Watching the playoffs yesterday was proof enough that the dolphins are not close to that caliber of team

"I feel Ireland has done a worse job in his role than Sparano did in his."
It's also hard to know just how good of a job Ireland has done in his role, because he never really had official "final say" until Bill Parcells eased out of the job in 2010 and we have no way of knowing what role he played in the good moves or the bad.
How can you say you " I feel Ireland did a worse job in his role" and then turn around and say "it's hard to know just how good of a job Ireland has done in his role" which is it ???? You totally contradicted yourself in a matter of three sentences. If you don't know how good of a job Ireland has done, how can you say he's done a worse job in his role. It's pretty obvious how Soprano has done in his role. You need more facts before you can make an accurate statement regarding Ireland's performance.

Well in addition to the extensive list of bad personnel moves over the past three years (of which some of the blame HAS to fall on Ireland) I also haven't cared for Ireland's public gaffes and his recent handling of Sparano's job to save his own ass. We might not have a 100% clear view of his abilities as a talent evaluator, but there is no question his first GM stint has been a rocky one.

In fairness to Ireland, Bryant's mom was a crack whore...
