Final 53-Man Roster Projection Empty Show Murtha Some Love!

Post by Walleye Fri Sep 03, 2010 6:24 pm

Murtha looks solid on his pass blocking this preseason. He looks much quicker and stronger. Here's a kid who could help the Dolphins down the road as the season lengthens in the future.

Some of your predictions are wrong thus far. Donald Thomas and Andrew Gardner were released today. I think with the acquisition of Pat McQuiston, Murtha is next. He has definitely struggled this pre-season. I honestly think they're not keeping Grove either. He's costly and injury prone. here's who I think they're keeping

Long, Incognito, Berger, Jerry, Carey
McQuistan, Feinga, Hartline, Procter

PS Gardner or Feinga

The signing of McQuistan will add depth to the tackle spot, now if Long and Carey can stay healthy that is the question.
I think Procter is in. He's a Parcell's/Ireland guy, and he can step in at tackle when needed as well.
I think if they were going to get rid of Feinga they've had plenty chances to do so already and give him an injury settlement. He was starting over Thomas at LG for the pre-season and did well. He also played RT and could step in too.

I've predicted Thomas being cut all preseason, but I made my final prediction he'd stay before McQuistan was acquired.
